Producing Peter & the Wolf, a new dance show bringing Prokofiev's timeless musical tale to life for young audiences and families.
Clea and Lizzie are excited to introduce you to Tales in Motion, a new dance company specialising in sensory theatre experiences for early years audiences. We met performing in a dance production of Tom’s Midnight Garden (2021) and are united by our passion for telling stories and creating meaningful performances for young people.
We need your help to put on our first show: Peter & the Wolf, an early years adventure through dance and music. Our first performance will take place at the Linton Children's Book Festival on 17th May 2026, followed by a performance at the Cockpit Theatre, London on 24th September. We need to raise a total of £2000 to cover the basic costs of creating and performing the show.
Your donation will go towards essential costs of putting on the production, such as: performer fees, rehearsal space hire, costumes, set and props. Alongside raising funds for our show, 5% of every donation will go to Save the Children, a fantastic charity which helps children across the world get the medicine, good food and education they need.
Tales in Motion is committed to reducing our impact on the environment. Therefore, all costumes, set and prop items will be sourced 2nd hand.
