Based in Norfolk, Pennypaws Rescue is a UK Registered Charity run by a handful of hardworking volunteers. This means that every single penny we raise goes towards helping dogs in dreadful conditions in Romania find a loving home here in the UK.

Pennypaws Rescue has many beautiful dogs ready for their forever homes, all saved from abuse, starvation and death in Romania. In Romania our dogs are assessed within safe shelters before being transported to the UK, where we find foster homes for them and then adoption.
We urgently need funds to give more dogs in terrible conditions in Romania their chance for happiness. Could you spare something to help us reduce the suffering please?
The costs for saving the dogs from the appallingly cruel kill shelters include:
- Costs to transport the rescued dog from a kill shelter to a safe shelter
- Veterinary checks & treatment
- Vaccinations
- Ongoing shelter costs for food and keep
