Stuart And Cathy Withycombe is fundraising for
African Vision Malawi (AVM)
Charity No. 1113786
£3,180
We'd love your support please!
Cath and I are heading to Malawi in May to take part in Pedal Power 2024, a 500km cycle over 8 days to raise money for African Vision Malawi. We first learnt about AVM some 10 years ago when our daughter chose to spend her elective in Malawi (indeed both our daughters have spent time volunteering with charities in Malawi). AVMs' amazing work has inspired us to join Pedal Power 2024, albeit we are a little daunted to be undertaking such a ride in our 60’s! All of your donation will go to AVM so anything you can contribute will be massively appreciated. Thank you!
African Vision Malawi
AVM works with and through communities to develop long-term and sustainable solutions to the welfare of orphans and vulnerable people in four key areas: self-sufficiency, health, education and water and sanitation.
The money you donate will support the programmes including training marginalised people so that they can work, supporting women in maternity, and a special needs unit for people with disability. All of the cyclists taking part are paying their own costs to participate; all of the monies raised go direct to the charity.
Thank you in advance for supporting us, your contribution is truly life changing.
