This is a moment we’ve dreamed of… and now it’s really happening!
We are Team Orion, a group of dedicated athletes aged 13–19 from Arrows Elite Cheerleading in Biggleswade. Earlier this year, we made history by becoming the first team in our club to ever receive an international bid — an invitation to compete at the AIA Global Championships in Montréal, Canada in July 2026!
For us, this isn’t just a competition. It’s the chance to represent Biggleswade and the UK on the world stage, in a city celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Olympics.
Our Road to Canada
Over the past season, Orion have:
⭐️ Placed top 5 at every UK competition we entered
⭐️ Travelled to Amsterdam and were crowned Division Champions
⭐️ Shown incredible growth, teamwork and resilience both on and off the mat
And we’re not stopping there. This season, we’ll be competing across the UK and heading to Germany, building towards our biggest challenge yet — stepping onto the competition floor in Canada.
To prepare, the team has increased their training schedule, adding extra hours of stunts, tumbling, conditioning and routine work. Every athlete is giving their all to be ready for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The cost of competing internationally is huge. Each athlete needs:
