We are raising money to create a much needed warm space in a friendly atmosphere.

With the extra money we can keep the heat on longer, and have the space open longer daily to extend our services.
We would also like to buy some shelving and bookcases as we have lot of books to put in our space to open up a lending library.
We provide support for families in Fife with additional support needs. We do this by providing a wide range of services, including and not limited to support groups, food support, counselling, family activities, form filling, information, access to benefit support, signposting, and much more.
Our headquarters are in our Family Support Centre in Elizabeth House, Mitchelston Industrial Estate, Kirkcaldy. Our Family Support Centre includes a welcoming reception, family gathering area, sensory room, art and craft room, games room, children's play area, staff room and kitchen, and our CEO's office. Our groups and most of our services are based here.
Our Community Hub is based in the Mercat Shopping Centre in Kirkcaldy, and provides a free, welcome, warm space for people in our community.
The focus of our Community Hub is to provide information on services available to unpaid carers and their families, as well as providing a space for all people in our community to come in for a chat, with access to board games, and arts and crafts, and a space for bringing in pack lunches. Our food support service and donation distributions point is also held in our Community Hub.
We are crowd funding in order to pay for an air conditioning engineer to come out and service our heating system and get the heat on to provide a warm space for families and individuals to use.
We hope that our warm space will become a regular meeting point for people to use, to feel safe and warm, to make friendships and be able to come in and have a chat if they feel lonely.
We have an information board with all the services available in our area and someone always on hand to help them find the information they are looking for, to chat or to do arts and crafts with. We have volunteer's and a hub co-ordinator always on hand and ready to help, as well as a lovely kids play area.
Ideally the crowdfunding will pay for the heat and to replenish the craft stuff for people to use.
The area we have for our warm space is very large, it has set areas that will be ideal for a diverse group of people and suit the needs of every individual that wants to come in and use our space, from a comfy couch area, family/toy area, tables to just sit and chat in a cafe like environment, and a massive craft area where our hub co-ordinator can pretty much help you create anything.
