Aim

Provide a new wheelchair viewing area at Blundell Park providing shelter and unobstructed views for wheelchair supporters and their carers.

The Mariners Trust are delighted to be leading on this project which will provide a much needed sheltered viewing area for wheelchair supporters and their carers. This will be located in the corner between the Osmond and Ramsden Home Interior stands and will provide a dedicated space for wheelchair users and their carers on a raised platform, accessed via a ramp. The stand will be covered to offer protection from the elements while ensuring unobstructed views for supporters. As part of the project, an additional accessible toilet will also be installed nearby. The project aligns closely with the Mariners Trust’s objectives of enhancing the matchday experience at Blundell Park and improving overall accessibility. Rewards and prizes will be distributed at the conclusion of the fundraiser, either once the target has been reached or by September 2026.
