Capoeira meets democracy: a powerful EP album defending Brazil against far-right chaos. Released before the 2026 vote. Join the resistance.
I am Carlo Alexandre - Brazilian composer and Mestre of Capoeira, a living art form that has always been, at its core, an act of resistance. After eleven albums and decades of sound, rhythm, movement, and community a new song is taking shape - because art does not stay silent when the world demands a voice.
This capoeira song, a response - direct and deliberate - to the international surge of far-right forces once again reaching to unsettle Brazil, will be released before October 2026 - ahead of the presidential election, the most polarized in our history - as an artistic act of faith in democracy and people.
