Venn Family Marathon

Aim

The aim is to raise money and awareness for Medi Tech Trust, to deliver equipment & training to hospitals in Africa.

The Venn family are running the Clarendon Marathon relay on the 6th October in order to raise money for MediTech Trust. 

Founded in 2002, Medi Tech Trust is a UK registered charity. It is dedicated to donating equipment and supplies to medical institutions; arranging training courses for surgeons in low resource countries; and advancing health care education in the community.

We have chosen to support Medi Tech Trust because my parents have been working alongside the charity for many years, delivering training courses and taking medical equipment out to Africa. This cause is especially important to us as a family, having witnessed first-hand the incredible impact of their work.

To raise funds, our family is participating in a marathon relay! The four of us will be running together to support this amazing charity. Following Medi Tech Trust's success in donating 50 ventilators to African hospitals, the charity is trying to buy Ultra Sound Machines which will rapidly assist surgeons during life-changing operations.
