Urgent repairs to the main hall floor of the Lostwithiel Community Centre. 

After forty years of constant use, the floor of our main hall needs urgent repair if we are to 

continue to offer the wide range of indoor activities currently available. 

Overview 

The main hall of the Lostwithiel Community Centre provides the only large indoor sporting 

and leisure facility in the local area. It is widely used for activities ranging from children and 

toddlers’ play groups to sporting activities which cater for an extensive range of interests 

and levels of fitness. 

In order that we can continue to offer and grow these activities, the floor needs resurfacing 

to ensure it remains safe and suitable for use. 

Sports England have offered to support this project by providing half of the £4,500 required 

if we are able to match fund the remainder. We are asking if you could support us with our 

fund raising. A little means an awful lot, especially at this time when the activities we offer 

provide a lifeline for so many.

The money we rasie will help us get the rest of the money needed to get the main hall /sports hall , dips and it re-skimmed and new lines painted on for different sports .
