Love Christmas 2022 - Southampton

Aim: We want to ensure everyone receives a gift this Christmas, and doesn't feel forgotten as the cost of living crisis increasing in the UK.

With the cost of living crisis weighing heavily on the nation as we look to the winter months, with individuals and families having to make tough decisions on where to spend their money, we plan to ensure everyone receives a gift this Christmas. 

Working with organisations who support those living in poverty or poverty-like situations, who live alone or in isolating environments, we will be creating Christmas hampers, that we will package and distribute. Ensuring that everyone has something to open on Christmas Day.

Last year we delivered over 950 bags and this year we are aiming to deliver 1500! 

Saint Mary's and our partners are looking for funding and personnel to support our ambitious but rewarding vision or ensuring everyone in Southampton has a gift and is not forgotten.

•  Call a Meal - hot meal deliveries 
•  House plant propagation sale in your workplace
•  Christmas fun run around Southampton
•  Cake or sweet sale at school/college
•  Ironing service for your friends and family
•  Small group/ Table mince pie & mulled wine evening
•  Pin the nose on Rudolph at school
•  Sell Christmas Cards
•  Christmas movie night in your student halls
•  Santa at Work - dress as Christmassy as you can and go into work
