Live chat Drop in and online support pages

Aim: Support our Mental health drop in support and access to online tools and information - speak with a counsellor instantly

EWG are a community focused organisation passionate about supporting our local community with their mental health and wellbeing.

We offer multliple service to support our community including peer support groups and wellbeing sessions, as well as one to one and couples counselling sessions.

This particular project is something we have offered since the pandemic and offers members of the community the opportunity to have instant live chats with members of our counselling team.

This project will allow us to offer  an online drop in service two nights a week. On this service individuals can enter our website and simply click on the talk to us icon, here they can access a FREE instant mental health chat for up to 45 minutes.

This service not only supports individuals in immediate need but also is helpful for those living with disabilities that mean accessing chats from home is an important options for mental health support accessibility.

As well as the opportunity to talk with a counsellor this project also aims to improve our online support pages giving community members a place to find helpful articles, information on mental health and support and related blogs written by our counselling team.

Our chats offer the space to talk about mental health, relationships and anything currently affecting community members wellbeing.

Funds that we raise pay for the support staff who work on this service for 3 months.
