Help Us Build a New Home for Our Community

We are raising funds to create a new home for our gym, a place that will serve not only our members, but the whole Mid Cornwall community for generations to come.

Our vision is to create a modern, safe, and welcoming facility where people of all ages can learn, train, and thrive. More than just a gym, it will be a community hub where confidence is built, friendships are formed, and opportunities are created.

But our story has never been an easy one.

We first opened our doors in 2015 and quickly established ourselves as a place where children and families could grow, learn, and belong. When redevelopment of the area forced us to move, we rebuilt and continued to serve our community. Then, in 2018, disaster struck when a devastating fire destroyed our facility and all of our equipment.

Despite losing everything, we refused to give up. For 12 months we operated out of the back of a hotel, keeping classes running and ensuring our members still had a place to train. In 2019, we finally returned to a temporary facility and continued to grow. Then the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to close once again.

Since reopening, we have continued to face the challenges of operating from a temporary building that is no longer fit for purpose. Yet through every setback, our community has remained strong. Together, we have created something truly special.

Today, we offer classes from grassroots participation right through to international level. Our athletes have proudly represented Cornwall and the UK at regional, national, and international competitions, proving that talent and determination can thrive when children are given the opportunity to succeed.

The new facility will allow us to expand our work with local schools, preschools, and youth groups, giving more Cornish children access to fitness, wellbeing, and positive experiences close to home. We believe every child deserves the chance to grow stronger, develop confidence, and be part of something positive, regardless of their background.

For families, the gym will provide an inclusive space where everyone is welcome. For our current members, it will offer a safer, better-equipped environment and a home we can all be proud of.

Because of funding requirements, this project will be delivered through a three-year development plan. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us improve facilities, expand opportunities, and create a lasting legacy for children, young people, and families across Mid Cornwall.

We can build a place where children discover their potential, where communities come together, and where future generations can grow stronger physically, mentally, and socially.

We've overcome redevelopment, fire, and a pandemic. With your support, we can finally build the permanent home our community deserves.
