15th December 2022Matthews Yard - Winter Warm Spaces
As we all know temperatures have dropped well below zero in the past week or so and energy bills have gone through the roof.
At Matthews Yard we have been exploring the idea of pulling together a calendar of “warm spaces” or “heat bank” events over the Winter to help keep people warm and stop them being isolated.
The outpouring of community support for Matthews Yard in the past week means we have decided to put this plan into action and introduce semi-structure warm spaces events in our events space, starting in December and running through January and February 2023.
