Jessop Primary Carnival & Community Fair

Aim: Raising funds for Jessop Primary's Carnival & Community Fair, bringing music, colour & creativity to celebrate diverse culture & communities

Jessop Primary School is a truly special school, connecting our diverse local communities and achieving outstanding results, ensuring every child is nurtured and valued.  Our school carnival and summer fair are a brilliant example of how teachers, students and parents come together to celebrate community, culture and creativity.  

Last year's carnival dance performances were a celebration of our core school values - friendship, ambition, love and hope.  This year, we want to raise funds towards our ambition to grow our all nations carnival and community fair, making these even more spectacular and inclusive, connecting local communities, bringing people together to celebrate, have fun and enjoy our vibrant carnival atmosphere and summer fair. 

Every carnival needs a steel band, so we're hoping to raise enough funds to hire a band to entertain and accompany the children as they parade their carnival costumes and - if we raise enough - some workshops and decorations to help create a colourful carnival atmosphere.  We also hope to attract more parents, family to our community summer fair, with refreshments and more on sale to raise vital funds for the school, to enhance the children's experience and environment.
