Help Ruardean Hill CC grow! We're fundraising to improve our facilities and support our thriving local cricket community.

Who are we?

Ruardean Hill Cricket Club is proudly rooted in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. We’re a passionate, community-driven club dedicated to making cricket accessible and enjoyable for all ages and abilities.

Why are we crowdfunding?

Over the past few seasons, our club has grown rapidly — now fielding 3 senior Saturday league teams, a mid-week Hundred team, 2 women’s teams, and 3 junior teams. This incredible momentum has created a real need to upgrade our training facilities so we can continue to welcome new players, support our current squads, and keep raising the bar.

We’re applying for additional funding to help us meet this demand and ensure our facilities match the ambition and energy of our players. Every contribution brings us closer to that goal.

How we’ll spend the money raised

Your generous support will help us invest in the future of cricket at Ruardean Hill. The priority for this Crowdfund is:

• Building two permanent all-weather batting nets to allow year-round training

These improvements will help us deliver a more inclusive, professional, and enjoyable cricketing environment for everyone.

Community impact

Ruardean Hill Cricket Club is more than just a place to play — it’s a growing hub for sport and community in the Forest of Dean. We’ve proudly hosted Gloucestershire Over-50s and D40 (Disability Cricket) fixtures, and we’re actively working with local schools to inspire the next generation of cricketers.

With your help, we can expand our reach, strengthen these connections, and establish RHCC as a leading centre for cricket in the region.
