Howden AFC | Clubhouse Fundraising

Aim

Howden AFC are raising funds, to support the creation of a much needed Clubhouse in the town.

Who are we?

We are the town's sole provider of grassroots football. We offer football from our Soccer Tots, through to Walking Football. We have dedicated girls teams, disability groups, mixed junior sides, open age men and women and veterans. We provide football in the area for over 400 members in the club, across 28 teams (and counting).

Why are we crowdfunding?

As part of the large development project, we need to support and provide financial contribution on behalf of the football club. We want to provide the facility to cater for the community needs. 

How we’ll spend the money raised

Money raised, will act as a contribution to the clubhouse project. We are working closely with the County FA, Football Foundation and East Riding Council. Howden AFC's contribution will be used to build the facility.

Community impact

Sport's and community facilities in Howden are needed. We are looking to firstly provide a home for the football club. However we also have aspirations to make the facility available for the wider community and benefit all. We believe creating the 'Hub' will help bring together a tight knit community.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
