Help us upgrade our outfield mower to a more reliable model to keep our little ground looking great all summer long.
Who are we?
Broomhall Cricket Club is a friendly, community-focused club dedicated to providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy cricket. With a proud history and a strong local following, we aim to create a welcoming environment where players can develop their skills, compete, and socialise both on and off the field.
After a successful year on the field, winning the Strathmore & Perthshire Cricket Union Division 3, the club is looking to continue the momentum into 2026.
Why are we crowdfunding?
After persevering for a number of years with our current outfield mower, we are at the point where we aren't confident on the reliability of this going into the 2026.
Despite many hours of hard work from volunteers, unfortunately due to differing personal circumstances, volunteers can't commit the potential time to undertake repairs.
We plan to upgrade to a newer/more reliable model of mower to ensure we can have the ground looking and playing as well as possible all summer long without the worry of numerous breakdowns.

Community impact
Upgrading our outfield mower will have a direct and lasting impact on the whole community. A well-maintained ground provides a safer, more enjoyable space for players of all ages, from juniors taking their first steps in cricket to adults competing each weekend.
Our ground is also regularly used by our neighbours Dunfermline & Carnegie Cricket Club and it is important to us that we have the ground in excellent playing conditions for the players and supporters of all teams visiting our picturesque little ground..
