On the 28th April 2024 we'd raised £21,143 with 595 supporters in 84 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Any additional money raised will go a long way in helping us provide life-changing opportunities for the young adults we work with.
Please Help Us Save Sea Change CIC:
We love our café, and we are proud of what it represents to our community, but the reality is that Sea Change is facing financial challenges, and without support, it will simply not survive.
We are a non-profit - any money received through donations helps pay for our overheads and ongoing training costs for our neurodiverse staff and volunteers.
Who We Are:
Unemployment. Isolation. Lack of opportunity. It is a tide that millions of UK adults diagnosed with autism and/or learning disabilities have been hit by for too long.
At Sea Change, we have a determination to turn that tide. Through our unique and tailored employment training programme, we are making waves towards sustainable employment and improved wellbeing for individuals who deserve every opportunity to thrive.
We teach transferable skills such as effective communication, teamwork, health & safety in the workplace, and time management. We also equip them with accredited qualifications, including Food Hygiene Certificates.
The Current Challenge:
Unfortunately, financial challenges are putting the sustainability of our café at risk. Our energy providers have hiked our rates by nearly 400%, and our food and drink suppliers have increased prices by up to 100%. In the face of the current economic climate, passing these costs onto our loyal customers is simply impossible, but without support, Sea Change will not survive.
Why Your Support Matters:
Sea Change is so much more than just a café; it's an inclusive space where people with autism and/or learning disabilities can grow and learn at their own pace and achieve their full potential.
How You Can Help:
Whatever the size of your donation, it helps us to continue providing life-changing opportunities for these young adults we work with.
