Aim

Help Us Rebuild Our Nets — Support Dunfermline & Carnegie Cricket Club

Recent storms have left our practice facilities at McKane Park damaged beyond repair — and with the 2026 season starting in May, we need your help to get back on the pitch.

A professional assessment has confirmed that our existing nets cannot be salvaged. We're now fundraising to purchase and install a brand new three-lane net cage, complete with fresh matting for the wicket, so our players can train safely and effectively ahead of the new season.

Our target: £7,500

Every pound raised goes directly towards the purchase and installation of the new net cage. We need to hit our target before April, so the sooner we get there, the sooner our players can get back to training.

Who are we?

Dunfermline and Carnegie Cricket Club was formed through the merger of Dunfermline CC and Dunfermline Carnegie CC, building on the proud history of both clubs. In recent years we've gone from strength to strength — our 1st XI claimed East of Scotland Division Two in 2025, and our 3rd XI lifted their equivalent title in the same year. Our membership has grown by over 200%, and we now field five adult teams alongside a thriving Colts section for our younger players.

Why does this matter?

Our nets aren't just infrastructure — they're where skills are developed, confidence is built, and cricket is grown at every level, from our youngest Colts to our senior players. A club of our size and ambition needs quality training facilities to match, and without them our ability to prepare for the season ahead is severely compromised.

Every contribution counts

No donation is too small. Whether you're a club member, a local supporter, or simply someone who loves the game, your generosity will make a real difference to the hundreds of cricketers who call McKane Park home. Every £5, £10, or £20 brings us one step closer to our goal — and to a 2026 season our players deserve.

Thank you for your support.
