Welcome to Settle Cricket Club, nestled in the beautiful heart of Yorkshire. For generations, our club has been a cornerstone of the local community, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds through the shared love of cricket. From our earliest days, we've built a reputation for being welcoming and inclusive, always striving to offer competitive cricket and youth development opportunities for everyone. Our sense of pride stems not only from our achievements on the field, but from the friendships and spirit that flourish off it.

As we look towards the future, we recognise the importance of nurturing new talent and ensuring every player – from juniors to seasoned members – has the best possible environment to develop. That’s why we’re launching a crowdfunding campaign: to upgrade and expand our practice nets facility. Our current nets have served us well for over 20 years, but with growing interest and participation, it's time for an improvement that matches our ambitions and supports all members in reaching their potential in a safe environment.

Your support will go directly towards replacing and extending our practice nets. We aim to provide a safer, more modern space for training, allowing more people to practise together, regardless of ability or experience. This upgrade will include new netting, improved surfaces, and ensuring our facilities are fit for purpose for years to come.

The positive impact of this project will reach far beyond our club’s boundaries. Enhanced practice nets mean better coaching for young cricketers, more opportunities for local children, and increased engagement for families and the wider community. It’s about creating a space where everyone feels welcome, supported, and inspired to give cricket a go.
