To establish a Magic & Occult Museum in the North

Aim
We are aiming to establish the UK's first Museum of Occulture, Esoterica & Hermetica in the North of England with its rich magical legacy
Great Britain has a rich magical legacy. and we want to capture, preserve and present the rich diversity and history of our occult and esoteric practices. We want to present these things in an educational way to magical practitioners and the general public and bring back a sense of wonder into our world.
For over 400 years, people who dared to be different have practised secret esoteric, magical, and occult traditions. this is especially true in the North of England, which became an esoteric hotbed in Victorian times.
From the witch trials at Pendle Hill, the Yorkshire Dales and Newcastle, to the Golden Dawn’s 1888 temple in Bradford and the birth of Chaos Magic in Leeds nearly a century later, this region is full of extraordinary stories, so we hope to see the museum established in the North of England where there is currently nothing like this, however we aim to cover ALL of Britain's magical practices.
Behind Custodia Borealis there is a team of knowledgeable people, including historians, writers, owners of unique collections, and a museum conservator, who are trying to make this dream a reality and are giving their time freely.
We are currently awaiting charity status (our form has gone in!), and will be seeking grants and funding. The ball is already rolling and we would like to gauge and garner wider community interest and support.
We already have agreements for loans from several significant historical occult and magical collections, currently tucked away from public eyes. If we create this Museum and Archive Arcanum, more material will undoubtedly come!
