Aim
After 10 years transforming young lives through classical music, ELSCM faces its biggest challenge yet and we need your help to continue.
Ten years ago, East London School of Classical Music opened its doors with a simple belief: every young person deserves access to excellent classical music education, regardless of background or income.
Today, we're celebrating extraordinary success—and facing an extraordinary challenge. After a decade of steady growth, demand has exploded. Our waiting list has never been longer. The musicians knocking at our door are ready to learn, but we've simply run out of room.
Your 10th anniversary gift will tackle three urgent priorities:
Expand accommodation and capacity: After 10 years in our current space, we desperately need additional rehearsal/teaching rooms, safe instrument storage, and quiet study areas to serve the next generation.
Fund our first professional rebrand and modern website: A decade of organic growth has been wonderful, but families struggling to find us can't access help. The world has change. AI is everywhere. Our anniversary rebrand (from East London School of Music to East London School of Classical Music) will ensure the next 10 years reach even more young people who need us.
Protect and expand our bursary programme: In 10 years, we've never turned away a student for financial reasons. Help us keep that promise for the next decade.
