Heidi aged 9, climbs Pen-y-ghent

Aim

For a new trampoline for our disability competitors at Springers. UPDATE 15.08.26 Heidi and her Springers friend Phoebe successfully climbed

• UPDATE 15.08.26 Heidi and her Springers friend Phoebe successfully climbed Pen-y-Ghent in under 4 hours! Both have managed to raise nearly 1k between them, no mean feat for 9 year olds! ❤️
• Heidi is climbing her first Yorkshire Peak - Pen-y-ghent, 2277ft above sea level, on 15th August 2026, to raise funds for Springers trampoline club. 
• Sport England have agreed to fund half of the bill for a new trampoline bed for our disability competitors, with the club working hard to raise the rest. Every penny will go towards helping the children have every chance to progress to National level competitions and what an achievement that is. 
• Heidi, at only 9 years old, has previously climbed Moel Famau and Catbells, will she succeed with this new challenge?!
