Aim: This summer, students from Harris Academy Wimbledon are embarking on a meaningful journey to support Walk92—a nationwide initiative.
Our Mission
This summer, students from Harris Academy Wimbledon are embarking on a meaningful journey to support Walk92—a nationwide initiative that unites football fans, clubs, and communities to drive positive change. Our students will walk from Harris Academy Wimbledon to AFC Wimbledon’s Plough Lane stadium, and then continue on to Fulham FC’s Craven Cottage. This route not only connects us with local football heritage but also symbolizes our commitment to community and social impact.
Why We’re Walking
Walk92 is more than just a walk; it’s a movement that celebrates football’s power to bring people together and make a difference. Funds raised through this initiative support various community projects, including those tackling youth homelessness, promoting mental health, and fostering inclusion through sport. By participating, our students are contributing to these vital causes and demonstrating the positive role young people can play in society.
Where Your Donations Go
All funds raised will be split equally:
Our Route
This route connects us with two iconic football clubs known for their community outreach. AFC Wimbledon, through its Foundation, runs programs that engage and inspire local people, while Fulham FC’s Foundation supports life-changing initiatives across southwest London.
