With your support, we aim to build a modern training space that will benefit future generations of cricketers in the local community.
Hadfield St Andrews Cricket Club was established in 1923 & currently play our cricket in the Greater Manchester Cricket League, having formerly played in both the Derbyshire and Cheshire, as well as Glossop and District Cricket Leagues.
We are a well established part of the local community, warmly offering a family friendly environment, including cricket facilities, as well as community spaces in our clubhouse for a variety of different social groups which have all benefited thousands of people over the years.
The club has gone from strength to strength in recent years thanks to the tireless efforts of our many volunteers and club committee.
We have a thriving junior section, including All Stars and Dynamos programmes, U9s and U11s softball teams, as well as U11s and U13s hardball teams. Very proudly as of 2025 we have also introduced for the first time in the clubs history an all girls softball team, who will take part in their first tournaments this summer.
We also have 3 senior teams, with our 1st and 2nd XIs playing every Saturday of the summer as well as a social XI playing on Wednesday evenings.
During the summer there is cricket of some form at the Club every day of the week.

Following the rapid growth of our junior section in recent years and the ever increasing demand for the clubs facilities, our current set up falls short of meeting these demands and so we need your help to help raise £30,000 to build brand-new, high-quality outdoor training nets that will:
✅ Provide a safe, all-weather facility for year-round practice
✅ Support youth development and coaching across all age groups
✅ Encourage the continued growth of our girls’ team
✅ Allow for community sessions, including local schools and social teams
All money raised will be spent on the costs associated with the building of the outdoor nets.
We’re reaching out to ask for your support. Whether you’re a club member, a village resident, or part of the wider community, we’d be incredibly grateful if you could contribute to our fundraising efforts by donating to our project.
Every donation—no matter how small—brings us one step closer to our goal of raising £30,000. These funds will go a long way in helping us purchase and install a much-needed new practice facility.
Your support means the world to us. Everyone at the club truly appreciates your generosity!
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
