Jackie Whitelaw and Gregor Wood are attempting the Glencoe challenge on the 1st of July 2023. Trekking 26.2 miles through some of the most dramatic landscape that Scotland has to offer.
We are raising funds for the charity Mearns Kirk Helping Hands. This is a local charity offering services and activities with the aim of improving health and wellbeing and reducing social isolation and loneliness in the elderly.
Just a few of the services and activities they offer are
- A befriending project.
- Dementia friendly cafe.
- Friendship club.
- Mens breakfast club.
- Lunch and Social Club.
All great services in which Jackie herself is involved with as a volunteer.
