Dear friends and supporters,
Christmas Day may have been and gone, but it is still a very present and happy memory here at Kids Company. We hope that you had a lovely Christmas break and the new year has got off to a good start. We want to give a huge thanks to our supporters for making it all possible and giving the gift of Christmas to our children and young people . Over the Christmas period we were able to:
- Reach over 12,000 children and their families with emergency food parcels throughout London and Bristol.
- Give toiletry sets to 1,200 teenagers.
- Distribute over 2,000 sacks of presents to children under 12 years old across our centres.
On Christmas Day we held a huge party for over 4,000 children and their families. Our activities included: Zumba; dance competitions; Kids Company cinema; Massages; photobooth; bouncy castle; face painting; games and many more. All of our families were sent home with an additional gift bag which included a towel set, toiletries, a blanket, biscuits and games for the whole family to enjoy.
None of this would have been possible without your generous support.
We still have a huge task ahead of us this winter to provide hot meals, warm clothing and support to thousands of children, young people and their families. Please continue to share our Crowdfunder page and help us reach our target.
