Aim
Genuine Fakes the film is all about community, we want to invite our crowd funders to be extra's in the movie set in Staffordshire.
I have worked closely with the individual on whom this story is based, local Staffordshire resident John Myatt. A key part of our vision is to actively involve the local community. This includes inviting our crowdfunding supporters to appear as extras in the film, as well as offering them the opportunity to attend a premiere screening sponsored by Staffordshire.
The funds raised will be used to further develop our community website, www.greeneyeproductionsacademy.com, expand our online shop, and deliver additional workshops for people in the local area. These workshops will focus on empowering participants to create their own films, books, and stage plays.
And supporting all local business in the area, 'local is great, local is green and local is global' and to continue to create our website to connect with other film makers in the region and enhance local business profile for the 'place to go'.
