What are we doing?
Many people in Edinburgh aren't in a position to provide nutritious meals for themselves or their families due to the challenges presented by COVID. We’re going to ensure as many folk as possible have a one less thing to worry about by providing just that.
But we need your help.
Why are we doing this?
Having founded the Food for Good coalition in March 2020, we ended up cooking 75,000 meals for those in need during the COVID lockdown. This was an incredible journey and we were honoured to have worked with such incredible partner organisations and to be able to have supported people in a time that many felt helpless.
We are committed to supporting local growers and suppliers as well as providing work for displaced chefs and helping our local communities during this time.
We now support to a number of fantastic Edinburgh organisations including Niddrie Mission, LIFT, Fresh Start and The Venchie to provide meals to those who need a hand.
This work does not only support those enjoying the food but also gives valuable, paid work to the young, displaced chefs that work with us.
What’s for dinner?
