Aim

We’re stepping up to Everest to raise funds for an outdoor training & social space at Number One HSP CIC - building health & community.

Help us build an outdoor training & social space at Number One HSP CIC.

On Saturday 20 September, our team is taking on the first of our challenges... a simple but brutal challenge: box step-ups to the height of Mt. Everest — that’s 17,420 reps on a 20-inch box.

Why?

Because we’re raising funds to transform the un-used area outside our gym into a safe, welcoming outdoor training and social space for our community.

This project will let us:

  • Host youth sessions and community events in the fresh air
  • Create a social hub where everyone feels they belong
  • Run free and low-cost outdoor classes for local people
  • Create a inclusive coffee and refreshment area for community groups

Number One HSP CIC is a not-for-profit social enterprise. Every penny you give goes straight into this project — from groundworks and surfacing to lighting, storage, and robust outdoor equipment. If you can donate or sponsor a few reps, you’ll be helping us turn an empty space into something powerful: a place that builds health, confidence, and community.

If you can’t give right now, please feel free to come down on the day, grab a coffee (Coffee King) or some pizza (Jay's Pizza), do a few steps or cheer on the steppers - it would mean the world to us and our community.

Thank you for helping us reach the summit — and build something that lasts.

Thanks to some offline support & donations we have an extra £300 added to the total!
