Differences Not Disabilities Community Hub

Aim

Create a vibrant Ramsgate hub offering SEND support, subsidised training, chatty cafe sessions, workshops, and BSL classes.

Differences Not Disabilities was built from real frontline experience supporting children, families, and individuals with autism, ADHD, and complex needs.

We are not a theory based organisation. We are hands on. We work directly with families at breaking point, helping reduce crisis, rebuild relationships, and create safer, more stable environments.

Our work has been recognised across Kent. We are proud winners of Best Neurodiversity Support and Inclusion Organisation 2026 and have been highly commended by the Kent Mental Wellbeing Awards.

But beyond awards, our impact is in the community.

Without funding or backing, we have consistently shown up. Every Friday, we provided hot food to people experiencing homelessness. We have supported families in their homes, delivered training, and created spaces where people feel understood rather than judged.

Again and again, we see the same gap. People do not know where to go until things reach crisis.

That is why we are creating a community hub in Ramsgate.

A place for real support, connection, and understanding. A space that brings together SEND support, subsidised training, workshops, and community.

This is not just a project. It is a continuation of the work we are already doing.
