I’m proud to be the founder and director of IMPACD CIC — as well as the Imagineer behind IMP. I’ve invested my heart and soul into creating spaces where everyone can move, express themselves, and connect through dance and the arts. This isn’t just my job; it’s my purpose. I work tirelessly to foster positive change through joyful, inclusive, and accessible dance experiences for all.
I believe that dance is a human right. It’s for everybody — every age, every ability, every background. It’s how we heal, grow, play, and belong. That’s why I’m participating in this Danceathon: to raise funds and awareness for our work at IMPACD CIC — ensuring that no one is excluded from the movement.
We bring people together in healthier, more connected communities through inclusive language, non-judgmental spaces, and playful, imaginative creativity. But we can’t do it alone.
We need your help.
Your sponsorship supports our mission to continue creating safe, expressive, and adventurous spaces where everyone can dance, dream, and feel seen.
If you believe in a world where the arts are a right — not a privilege — and where community means togetherness, please support our Danceathon.
Let’s move hearts and minds — together.
With gratitude, joy, and rhythm,
Amanda Hose-Hawley

Building Connection Through Dance, Art, and Community
We’re a group of passionate individuals dedicated to creating spaces where no one feels alone, unheard, or undervalued. Through dance, art, and connection, we’ve witnessed the incredible impact that community-focused activities can have on people’s lives.

Who We Are
We’re the team behind IMPACD CIC, a small local organisation committed to reducing isolation and fostering well-being. Like many grassroots groups, we work tirelessly to address the needs of our community—often without recognition or support from local government. But we know the transformative power of what we do, and we’re determined to keep making a difference.
What We’re Doing
This Good Fri Day, we’re taking on a 30-hour Danceathon to raise funds to secure three free weekly sessions for the following year. These sessions will provide:
- A Warm, Safe Space: A welcoming environment where people can meet, relax, and feel at home.
- Creative Expression: Dance, art, and drumming activities that help people connect, express themselves, and feel valued.
- Community Connection: Opportunities for individuals to build relationships, find support, and feel part of something bigger.
Small organisations like ours make a huge impact, delivering vital services and creating meaningful change in ways that larger systems often overlook. With your help, we can continue this vital work and reach even more people.
How We’ll Use the Funds
Every pound raised will go directly toward:
- Running three weekly sessions (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) for an entire year.
- Providing materials for art, dance, and drumming activities.
- Supporting local artists and leaders who bring these sessions to life.
- Offering refreshments and a warm, safe space where everyone feels welcome.
These sessions will ensure that no one in our community goes more than a few days without seeing friendly faces, connecting with others, and having a space to express themselves.
Our Vision
We believe in the power of community. Our vision is a future where connection replaces loneliness and everyone feels heard, valued, and supported. Small organisations like ours are the backbone of this work, often stepping in where larger systems fall short. Together, we can make a lasting impact—one step, one beat, and one dance at a time.
Join us for 30 hours of dancing, fun, and purpose. Let’s show the world what a small organisation with a big heart can do!
