Aim

Supporting disabled children in the UK to build health, happiness and connection!

Help 12,500 Disabled Children in the UK Dance, Connect and Belong 🦩

Every child deserves to feel included, but across the UK, 270,000 disabled children say they feel lonely EVERY day.

Flamingo Chicks changes that through joyful, inclusive dance that builds confidence, friendships and independence.

Since we began, 61,814 disabled children have danced with us.

In 2026, we want to reach 12,500 more children across the UK - helping them build confidence, friendships and connection while exploring cultures from around the world through movement and creativity.

Why This Matters

Disabled children face significant barriers to being active and socially included.

• 41% of disabled children are inactive

• Obesity rates are 38% higher than their peers

• 45% regularly feel lonely

Dance helps children feel stronger, more confident and proud of who they are.

What Flamingo Chicks Achieves

Last year alone:

✨ 14,039 children joined our inclusive dance sessions

✨ 11,406 children accessed our free online class

✨ 44 disabled children and families performed proudly at Disneyland Paris!

2026 Theme: Bringing the World to Flamingo Chicks in the UK 🌍

This year, our young people will explore cultures and traditions from around the world through dance and performance.

This helps:

🦩 Learn about different cultures

🦩 Connect creatively with others

🦩 Feel part of something bigger

🦩 Have the opportunity to explore the world

Help us reach 12,500 children
