We're still collecting donations
On the 9th November 2020 we'd raised £7,027 with 251 supporters in 69 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
The Coronavirus outbreak has caused huge financial difficulties for Wild Things - we need help securing the future of our organisation!
On the 9th November 2020 we'd raised £7,027 with 251 supporters in 69 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We currently need to raise approximately £3,000 per month to continue to run in the short term. Any extra funds raised will allow us the time we so desperately need to apply for bigger, more significant grant funding to ensure the long term future of Wild Things.
The Performing Arts create confident, connected, happy human beings - and the world needs that right now!
Wild Things Performing Arts CIC was formed in June 2020 with a social mission - to provide inclusive performing arts classes and workshops for hundreds of people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds in the Greater Manchester area. The Covid-19 outbreak caused huge financial difficulties for us and we need some help securing our future!
Over lockdown, in order to help those who were out of work and struggling financially, we offered a huge reduction in fees for drama, dance and singing classes and continued to deliver the same high quality classes over this time online. And although this was a huge help to many, it wasn't something we could afford to do, and with large outgoings, it has left us in a very tricky situation financially. As well as thousands of pounds lost over this time, and no access to government grants, we are now looking at hugely increased costs to enable us to transition from online classes to face to face teaching, with no extra income currently available to us.
Any money raised will help us towards recovering some of the huge losses caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. We will need to then look at further fundraising to cover the cost of staff and venue hire for the increased number of classes that will need to take place to adhere to government guidelines. Any monies raised will help to secure our short-term future. We also hope to be able to subsidise classes for those who are still in financial difficulty because of Covid-19.
