1We want Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to be a great place to live for everyone – a place where people work together to address disadvantage and build strong, resilient communities.
In 1999 a group of supporters set up the Cornwall Independent Trust, after identifying the need to give those struggling in the community a voice and to establish an independent source of funding of self-help within Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. In 2003 the Fund became the Cornwall Community Foundation continuing this work and supporting work to improve education, health – both physical and mental; and the relief of poverty and sickness. CCF has awarded £13m to the community over the last 19 years, over 6000 local projects have benefited in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
