Colwyn Bay Rugby Touch exists to bring men together through fast, fun, inclusive sport, to promote not only physical fitness but mentally.
Colwyn Bay Touch Rugby is growing fast, faster than our current resources can keep up with. We’re a welcoming, mens mixed‑ability, mixed‑age team that gives people of all backgrounds a place to belong, get active, and feel part of something bigger.
We’re raising funds to improve our equipment, expand our sessions, and create more opportunities for people across the Bay to get involved. With your support, we can keep the club affordable, inclusive, and thriving.
Colwyn Bay Touch Rugby started with a simple idea: rugby should be for everyone. No tackling, no barriers, no pressure, just fun, fitness, and community.
Our team is made up of parents, beginners, former players, students, and people who simply want to get moving again. We’ve built a club where laughter is as important as the scoreboard, and where new faces are welcomed like old friends.
Our vision is to grow into a sustainable community hub, offering more sessions, better equipment, and opportunities fot adults, families to enjoy sport together, and to promote positive mental health in adults. Every penny raised helps us keep the club accessible and open to all.
Who are we?
We are Colwyn Bay Touch Rugby, a volunteer‑run community club based in North Wales.
We pride ourselves on:
- Being fully inclusive — all ages, all abilities, all backgrounds
- Promoting mental health, confidence, and social connection
- Creating a safe, friendly environment for people to try something new
- Supporting families and young people with affordable sport
Whether someone is returning to rugby, trying it for the first time, or just wants a fun way to stay active, we make sure they feel at home from day one.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Transparency matters to us, and we want supporters to see exactly how their contribution helps the community. Funds raised will go directly toward:
🏉New balls, cones & training kit to run safe, high‑quality sessions £300
🏉First aid & safety supplies- To keep all players protected £150
🏉Club branded playing kit to promote sessions and grow participation £750
