I've signed up for the Matcham to Matcham Challenge for the Theatre Royal Wakefield (TRW). Along with Harry King, Ben Lee and Kas Al-Ebadi, who are joining for some/all, on 30 July (was 29 July) I'll be walking 42 miles between three Frank Matcham designed buildings: Leeds County Arcade, TRW, and Harrogate Royal Hall. It’ll be my furthest walk in a day, by some margin. 🥾
TRW is a charity that develops new creative opportunities and experience within and beyond its building. It runs musical theatre training for learning-disabled young people, workshops for older people at risk of social isolation, among many other participation activities. It does not receive any regular public funding.
It’s currently hosting me as a UK Boardroom Apprentice, giving me experience and support to one day become a charity trustee myself.
They’re a fantastic cause, where I know first-hand that donations are well-spent. Thank you for any support you can give!
