Aim
I'm raising funds for Pear Tree High School, my school - that I'm proud to work at and want to give back to for our amazing students.
After far too long wondering when the “right moment” would come, I’ve finally found it. I've always wanted my first marathon to mean something—and when I heard about the school hike that I sadly can’t take part in, it clicked. This is my chance to give back in my own way, doing something I love.
So, on 27th June, I’ll be taking on the Trail Escape Manchester Marathon—my first ever marathon! (The date on crowd funder is 23rd and won't allow me to extend) but follow me on My Strava. This has been a dream on my bucket list for years, and now I get to chase it with purpose and pride.
I'm raising funds to build an outdoor Art Studio. A dedicated outdoor space where students can explore creativity in a calm, sensory-rich environment. This space will provide a hands-on therapeutic approach to learning through art and nature, with opportunities to develop confidence, communication and regulation.
We are also fundraising to introduce Alpacas to our school community. The development of Pear Tree Farm will have a powerful impact on students. Alpacas are calm, gentle and provide unique learning opportunities and responsibilities.🦙
