Aim
To raise funds for the very popular & free Burntisland Bonfire & Fireworks Display for 2026.
Hello again from the Burntisland Bonfire Committee, and a huge ‘Thank you’ to everyone that came, enjoyed and supported our Bonfire and Fireworks event on the day, before and after 🎉
The amounts we raised were on the night £2,308, from collection tins in business £225 plus the Crowdfunder so far £1,467 ❤️ less fees of £66. We are still falling short by nearly £1,100 🙏 to make this event happen next year 2026, so if you can please donate, we would be very grateful, so we can do it all again next year 🎇🎆
As mentioned before to enable this event to be held again in 2026, we need to raise a total of £15,000 by 31st July 2026 to pay for everything and we estimate £5,000 will be needed from the public via donations/collections, the rest coming from local grants and corporate donations. We have updated the target on Crowdfunder to take out what was raised on the night and collection tins from £5,000 to £2,600 to show the shortfall.
