Building facilities suitable for the 21st Century

Aim: Help us to raise £15000 towards a clubhouse improvements to add new internal toilets, a new kitchen, new bar and updated social space.

Why are we crowdfunding?

Our clubhouse is the heart of the club, but it’s in urgent need of modernisation to keep up with the growth of our teams and community. We’re raising £15,000 to help fund a much-needed improvements that will include:

• New internal toilets (we currently rely on outdated external ones)
• A new kitchen to better serve players, families and guests
• A new bar area to support our social events and fundraising efforts
• A refreshed, accessible social space for all
• A club and community space accessible whatever the weather. 

These improvements will help us welcome more players, especially women, girls, and juniors. it will allow us to host more inclusive events for the whole community. It’s a vital step in growing the club and securing its future.

How we’ll spend the money raised

Every penny raised will go directly toward the facilities improvement project. Your support will help us fund:

• Installation of new internal toilet facilities
• Modern kitchen units and appliances
• Refurbished and extended bar area
• Upgraded social space including seating, flooring and lighting

We’ll also be seeking matched funding and in-kind support to make your donations go even further.

Proposed Plans for Redevelopment.

These plans are ambitious, and signal our intent to modernise the club, they are subject to gaining the necessary approvals and funding. Plans may change, but the intent to modernise the club will remain. 

Community impact

Hopton Mills CC is more than just a cricket club, it's a vital hub for the local community. We offer coaching and playing opportunities for boys, girls, men and women of all ages and abilities. Our facilities are used by local schools, community groups, and for family events.

The improved clubhouse will:

• Provide a safer, more welcoming environment for all visitors
• Support the growth of our junior and women’s sections
• Enable us to run more social and fundraising events that benefit the wider community
• Create a flexible, accessible space for use all year round
