In a world of local news deserts and misinformation, we aim to establish an independent, community-driven news and interview space.
We are looking to create a new independent news and interview space in Sefton, just north of Liverpool. There are two of us who are concerned about the lack of local newspapers and mis and disinformation online. We are also concerned about the rioting that occurred in Sefton a year ago, in Southport. We are looking to expand our team and to interview local people from a range of different backgrounds in politics, business, media, charity and community etcetera. We also want to provide a regular news programme on YouTube, as well as print releases on Facebook and Substack.
We want to build our team and our brand. We will include people's opinions but we want to present people with facts and allow proper transparency and accountability across Sefton, as well as sharing success stories and bringing the community together.
