All additional funding will go towards enhancing the pavilion at Broxhead
Improving the changing and toilet facilities at our Broxhead Pavilion for all users in particular our womens and girls groups
For 130 years, Grayshott Cricket Club has been the home of cricket in our village.
Grassroots cricket brings our village together. It builds confidence, teamwork, and lifelong friendships - for boys, girls, men and women alike.
Today, we’re proud to be more inclusive and active than ever, with over 500 members and in 2026 will have:
This continued growth is a positive sign of a healthy and inclusive club,
See below a selection of some team photos from 2025

The existing pavilion facilities at our Broxhead Common ground, particularly the toilets and changing rooms, were designed at a time when the club’s membership was smaller and predominantly male. As participation has grown and diversified, these facilities are no longer sufficient in terms of capacity, accessibility or suitability. The club feels it is important to have welcoming facilities that are fundamental to creating an environment where women and girls feel valued, comfortable and encouraged to continue participating.
If we are to sustain the momentum and continue building strong pathways for girls into adult cricket, it is essential that the pavilion reflects the inclusive future of the club.
Modern, accessible and properly proportioned facilities will remove barriers to participation, support equality of opportunity, and ensure the pavilion can serve both the expanding cricket membership and the wider community groups who rely on it.
As part of our crowdfunding campaign we are also seeking match funding from the Sport England Movement Fund which supports clubs like ourselves promoting physical activity in the local community and aimed at a number of priority groups including Girls 5-16 and older people.
The project looks to deliver the following;
1. Separate access to changing rooms away from the main club room.
2. Dedicated unisex toilet area for non players, increasing the number of toilets and enhancing the space for all users
3. Increase the size of changing rooms with a dedicated toilet and shower space in each team changing room, suitable for all users.
4. Provide a dedicated accessible toilet and separate changing space

As mentioned above the main aim is to modernise our toilet and changing room areas for all users but in particular for girls and women. The pavilion is also used on a regular basis by an Art Class two days a week and a Pilates class on a weekly basis making the pavilion a true community space used all the year round
