Befriending Project fundraiser

Bradford Refugee Forum run a Befriending Project. This is often to help asylum seekers who have newly arrived in Bradford, but has helped a range of people. Refugees and asylum seekers are paired with volunteers who speak the same language, who can welcome them to Bradford, and help them find support, services and community groups they can be part of.

It is incredibly hard starting life in a new place as an asylum seeker. Our Befriending Project aims to give people a turning point of hope.

Our brilliant coordinator, Duncan Wahuho, heads up the Befriending Project. We are raising funds to keep it going! We are hugely grateful to any amount you can donate towards it. Thank you!
