At Age UK Norwich, we believe every older person deserves to live with dignity, connection, and purpose.
But right now, too many are facing later life alone, struggling with poor health, isolation, and financial insecurity. That’s where we step in.
For over 80 years, we’ve been providing local, life-changing support for people aged 50 and over. From benefits advice and health coaching to dementia support, digital inclusion, and simply being a friend, we’re here every step of the way.
Help Us Celebrate 80 Years of Supporting Older People in Norwich
This year, Age UK Norwich turns 80. For eight decades, we’ve stood beside older people, helping them live independently, stay connected, and face later life with dignity.
But as we celebrate this incredible milestone, the challenge ahead has never been greater.
More people than ever are turning to us for help. They’re facing loneliness, poor health, digital exclusion, and financial hardship - often all at once.
We’re seeing record numbers asking for advice, support, and friendship. And with Norwich’s aging population growing rapidly, we urgently need your help to meet the rising demand.
What Your Donation Can Do
Your donation helps us build a city where everyone can age well, where older people feel seen, valued, supported, and part of a connected community.
We’re asking for your help to keep our vital work going and growing. Here's what your support can achieve:
- £5 keeps our Advice Line open, giving someone a lifeline when they need it most.
- £10 gives someone a place at a club to reduce loneliness and build friendships.
- £15 funds a health coaching session to aid recovery after a fall or serious illness.
- £100? That changes lives.

- Support 20 advice calls to help people access life-changing benefits and services.
- Fund 10 club sessions that tackle isolation head-on.
- Provide 6 health coaching sessions for people getting back on their feet.
- Cover volunteer training, so our reach can extend even further.
