The Anstruther Harbour Festival and Muster is a fantastic community event for the whole family
The Anstruther Harbour Festival and Muster is an annual event which celebrates the heritage of Anstruther, a small coastal town in the East Neuk of Fife. It's a festival for all the family that brings the local community and visitors together during a fantastic weekend of music, dance and loads of activities for all ages to enjoy.
It regularly attracts thousands to the town and surrounding area and our team of volunteers are currently working hard to make the 2026 festival (Friday 28th August - Sunday 30th August) another fantastic weekend for all involved.
A variety of entertainment and activities for all the family is planned, including a marketplace of local food, drink and craft stalls, lots of local talent performing on the live music stage, a family ceilidh, traditional music & dance and the boat Muster.
Putting on a great festival requires a lot of hard work and money – costing over £30,000 to manage the event safely and some of the funding we've received in the past is no longer available.
We try to keep most of the festival free of charge and this has been made possible in previous years through generous sponsorship and grants. Although we've been fortunate enough to receive funding this year from Fife Council's Strategic Events Fund and others, this doesn’t cover all our costs so, we're seeking your help again through this crowdfunding campaign.
Any support you can give now will be invaluable for ensuring the continued success of the festival. All donations received will contribute directly to the cost of the 2026 event.
