Victoria Baths
19th February 2019Just over two weeks to go - thank you all for your pledges and comments
We've just over two weeks to go and we've raised over £3500, which is amazing! Thank you ALL for your wonderful pledges and comments.
Between personal appeals from supporters (whether a text to a friend, a social media post or face-to-face), stories from media outlets like Manchester Confidential, and appeals to supporters from the Heritage Trust Network, Lucy Powell MP and a host of others, we're really managing to share the story far and wide, which is exactly what we wanted to do.
We have another two weeks to reach our target of £10,000 and then, finger's crossed, we can commission work to start on this magnificent window. Just last week, its opposite number was returned to the Baths and put back in position in a brand new frame, having been fully restored in a stained glass studio, so we have both "before" and "after" to compare at the moment. Both beautiful, but one in a much, much better state than the other.
Best wishes,
Gwyneth and all at Victoria Baths
P.S. here's a few of the lovely comments you've been leaving:
