Albania to Corfu Swim 2026
On 12 September 2026, over 100 swimmers will cross the Corfu Channel — 3km from the Albanian coast to Corfu, Greece. It's our flagship event, and this is our ninth crossing.
The swim
What started in 2014 with 9 friends has grown into an international open water swim that draws participants from over 20 countries. Swimmers of all abilities take part, supported by safety boats, kayakers, and a full operations team on the water.

This is not a race. It's a community event with a purpose - every swimmer raises funds for marine conservation in the Ionian Sea.
2026 is sold out - but you can still support
If you're here, chances are someone you know is swimming. This is their fundraising page.
Every donation goes directly to conservation projects protecting the marine environment around the Ionian Islands.
Where the money goes

Since 2014, our swim community has raised over €200,000 for conservation in the region. Read the 2025 Impact Report

About Go Overboard
Go Overboard (formerly Albania Overboard) was founded by Nick Cookson and Nick Lemis, two UK-based friends with strong family ties to Corfu. What began as a challenge between mates has become a registered charity and a growing international community of swimmers who believe every stroke can make a difference.
