Aim

Case-UK are supporting our friends, Taff Ely Food Bank, to raise money to help feed our friends and family in the community.

Hi, I'm Emma, the Strategic Partnerships Manager for Case-UK CIC.

Taff Ely Food Bank are not only a Partner and Friend of Case-UK but also a place where hundreds of our community members go to access food. I was completely taken aback last week to learn that this January (2026) their access number were raised by 97%. Not only do they provide food packages for families, but also Baby Bank packages to support baby milk, formula, and foods.

If you have ever accessed a Food Bank, you'll know how they literally save lives, take off pressure and support people who are struggling. If you haven't had to go to a food bank, imagine the bills being so high, or that something unexpected cropped up that there was no option but to pay it, leaving you without food for you or your family. People don't use the food bank for a free ride, they use it to ensure they don't have to answer their children when they ask why there is no food to eat, or crying babies who desperately need to be fed. 

Food Banks are the saving grace for so many people in need. Case-UK are so proud to be supporting the Taff Ely Food Bank. With our mental health provisions providing free access to confidential support for anyone struggle whilst managing work, as well as those looking for work but needing support. This support from Case-UK alongside the outstanding work Taff Ely Food Bank provide is a collaboration to give our people the best that we can. 

I've jumped out of a plane, I've flown a RAF aircraft and been in a helicopter. Somehow I thought I'd smash this but age has got that fear level to creep up slightly and my anxiety is up there...but... I have to do it for the community.
