Aim

We launched in April-25 to advocate beside people experiencing homelessness in Norfolk, and provide long-term accommodation support

We launched after a decade in the statutory and voluntary homelessness sector, wanting to use our knowledge and experience to practically help people. Coming from lived experience, we knew what people needed to get through the often daunting process of making a homelessness application with the local council.

Our core offer is 

• Advocacy for people experiencing homelessness in Norwich - we accompany people through their homelessness application with the council, and into accommodation
• Support for people with tenancy help and by welcoming them to a creative community where people are empowered and active
• Consultancy and Workshops for organisations in the homelessness and associated sector
  
  

Since Apr-25 we have provided 102 counts of advice, support and professional consultancy. Our advocacy service has seen nothing but positve outcomes with applications accepted and progressed; emergency and settled accommodation achieved (including for 2 people who were entrenched rough sleepers).

Some of the people we help are now upskilled to help others, we have created a community of mutual support and have been joined by 2 amazing volunteers

Please bear with us whilst we make our online and social media presence shine. For the first 6 months of the project we were entirely voluntary, building evidence of need for our service. Securing funding in Septemeber has meant 1 full time and 1 part time member of staff to lkeep the organisation running. Our costs are kept to a minimum - we are a non profit organisation with a charitable purpose.
