Zarach is a charity on a mission to end child bed poverty in England. We provide beds and bed bundles to disadvantaged children so that they have the opportunity to engage at school and a chance to break the future cycle of poverty. Our model sees us working closely with schools to identify children living in bed poverty. Our family engagement team ensures that beds are delivered, and families are supported with accessing services they need. Our story started in Leeds. However, in response to the increasing need of 900,000 children facing bed poverty, we are now active in other targeted areas of need, including:
● West Yorkshire
● Tees Valley
● Liverpool
● Stockport
● Stoke
● Romford
You may have seen our recent delivery of 1100 bed frames to the Warehouse. Due to the generous regular support of national suppliers Silentnight, Harrison Spinks, and Duvalay, we already have 288 bed bundles ready for delivery.
But we still need your help to provide mattresses for the remaining 712 bed bundles this spring.
